Fellow Corporate Challengers,
Thankyou all for being apart of another fantastic Corporate Challenge Event.
A big welcome to new businesses Mizco, Marc Environmental, PG Watson’s, Terex Jaques, Pilbara Iron, RAC, CBH, ANZ, MG Kailis Group and Quality Press and thankyou again to those businesses who have supported the WA Golf Voucher Booklet over the years.
We hope it was a great introduction to the Challenge for your business and you will join us again some time in the near future.

Firstly, commendations to Ben and all the staff at Royal Perth for providing such an immaculate course, a truly superb venue fitting of a Corporate Challenge event.
The food (especially the tasty post game morsels) and service was of an excellent standard all day and we look forward to next year’s event. As the scores reflected Royal Perth is a lot tougher than its inconspicuous layout suggests. The tight fairways, slick greens, extensive bunking and tight greenside undulations all make for some tricky golf and some higher than usual scores.

Congratulations to Justyn Bridge and David Nichols of the ANZ team who finished 3rd and to Alan Leese and Tristan Cameron who finished 2nd and pipped the ANZ boys by 0.25 of a shot. The winner of the event for the first and hopefully the last time this year was my team!! Thankyou to my partner Matt Cameron for some great golf, if it were left up to me the result may have not been the same. Nearest to the pins were Michael Jagiello and Phil Freegard both of the Axis team and longest drives Rod Duncan and Chris Wilson both of the Quality Press team.

The leader board is still very close, all teams are still in with a chance but with only 5 events remaining every result is crucial from here on in.

As always thanks must go to our major sponsors AXIS Financial Group for their support of the event and to Patrick our stand in Golf Professional for some help around the course. Also thanks to Gage Roads for their contribution to the prizes.

Our next event…
Meadow Springs Golf and Country Club is one of Western Australia’s most highly-acclaimed
Courses, consistently ranked in the Top 10 Public Access Courses in Australia by Golf Australia
Magazine. Built in an enchanting parkland setting the par 72, 6118-metre Robert Trent Jones Jnr creation
meanders between tall, stately Tuart trees, creating the impression that the course has been there for
centuries. Trent Jones Jnr has made full use of the scenic setting to create a superb course that provides a
serious test for accomplished golfers but remains playable for higher handicappers. Meadow Springs is a
tried and tested favourite for locals and international visitors and a must play for all golfers.

Thanks again. See you on-course.
